I know that wishes from genies usually blow up in your face, but I think about it from time to time. The Three Wish Mermaid really inspired me.
Let’s assume the genie gives me three wishes. I’m pretty sure that is in the standard genie contract anyway.
- Writing books via telepathy. I would love just to think things and have them turn into novels and short stories. I use dictation, which comes pretty close. But, if I could just think something and have it magically appear fully written and edited, I would love it.
- The ability to write a book every week. I know that technically I could do this, but it might kill me. It depends on the length of the book too. If I could write a book a week without needing two weeks of recovery time, that would be amazeballs.
- Instaformatting. While trying to format some of my books into proper paperback settings, I realized how terrible formatting is. TERRIBLE. You might not know this, but setting a book up for print and ebook are no fun at all. There are ways around this, like Style Sheets. I am still learning how to use them properly. So, a wish would be easier.
